“Disciples of the Word”
“As our King’s return draws near, let us turn to Him and invite others to do the same.”
Isaiah 11:1-10 – The coming of the Messiah will bring restoration and fulfillment to us.
Romans 15:4-7;13 – Through the examples of patience and
encouragement found in the Holy Scriptures, the Lord gives us hope.
Psalm 72:1-8
Matthew 3:1-12
1.(v.1-6) Choose to be prepared for our Lord’s second coming.
2.(v.7-12) Living prepared lives is living transformed lives that can be seen.
Repent – to have a change of heart and mind. Turn away from wasteful life and turn to the Kingdom of God. Come back to a right relationship with God.
Acts 26:17-18 – I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.
