In this Sunday Mass Homily at Saint Michael Kalibo, Bp. Romie- Jun emphasized three things from the Gospel.
Firstly, before you ask God about your problems, He already knows your problems so He already knows what you need. He know your problems more than you do. He knows it from all angles, inside out, all the details. Before you open your mouth, He already knows your needs. But still God wants to listen to you when you ask for help.
Secondly, God already has the best solution to our problems. God knows every detail of your life, and He already has plans for us. God can do more than what we can imagine! Surrender to His plans.
And lastly, God will always test your heart. Challenges are present in our lives for us to think. All of us will be tested before we will be blessed.
God would like to bless you that is why tests and trials are there. He would like to pour out blessings in your life that you never have before. Therefore, do not hide from your problems.
