Homily by Fr. Erel Villanueva
In this Sunday Mass Homily at Saint Michael Kalibo, Fr. Nonoy reminds us to have the heart of Jesus. Our actions reflect what we feed in our spirits and therefore, we should be careful with what we consume spiritually. Our heart is the focal point of everything – problems, solutions. The heart of the problem is the heart.
Feed your spirit with the Word of God and participate in the Eucharist. By doing this, we are able to take care our spiritual hygiene. Examine our hearts. Are we able to show God’s love to others? Our action is the reflection of what we feed our spirits.
Change your heart, renew your mind with the word of God and with the Eucharist. Have a heart that is willing to obey, serve God, and be used by God. It’s not easy. It will not happen overnight. But it’s not impossible. A heart full of love, life, peace – a Heart of Jesus.
