Homily by Fr. Erel Villanueva

In this Sunday Mass Homily at Saint Michael Kalibo, Fr. Erel reminded us that we should share Jesus to everyone. Today’s Gospel talks about the time wherein Jesus sent out His disciples, two by two, to make Jesus known through healing the sick and preaching about His word.

As Christians, we are called, empowered, and commissioned. We should ready ourselves to share Jesus to the world- in our community, in our institutions, in our work, and in our homes.
We should also remember that people “read” our lives. When we are in the places that God planted us in, we should work with excellence as a testimony to our peers. Your testimony is very important. Any simple act of kindness will always point to Jesus. We should remember that we are God’s representatives. Be a good testimony, be a good witness because our changed life is the most important testimony that no one can debate.
