Homily by +Bp. Romie-Jun Peñalosa

On this Sunday Mass Homily at Saint Michael Kalibo, +Bp Romie- Jun is encouraging all of us to talk about Jesus. The early fathers of our church always talked about Jesus and this is what kept them strong.

Blessings are made possible in our life because of Jesus. If we appreciate these blessings then we should talk about Jesus. The more we follow Him, the more we talk about Him.

However, when we start talking about Jesus, problems will arise. Suffering comes with doing the work of God. But God is reminding us that His grace is sufficient for us. The Lord wants us to rely on His grace all the time. St. Paul has a thorn in the flesh that makes him dependent on the word of God. But it is in our weakness that God’s power is made perfect.
